Frequently asked questions

The questions parents and students ask us most often. If yours is not here, just get in touch.

What English level does my child need?

We welcome students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Before the trip we assess each student to place them in the most suitable group and activities.

What is included in the price?

Accommodation, breakfast and most meals, all planned activities and excursions, English lessons with qualified teachers, learning materials, local transport during the trip and full supervision by our staff. International flights are not included.

How long are the trips?

Our flagship programmes run for 14 days — long enough for real immersion and visible progress, structured so every day balances learning and exploration.

Where do students sleep?

In university residences with single or twin rooms, or in carefully selected homestays with English-speaking families. All accommodation is inspected by our team and chosen for quality, safety and educational value.

How many students are in a group?

Groups are capped at around 20 students with multiple accompanying leaders, so every student gets personal attention.

Does my child receive a certificate?

Yes. Every participant receives a certificate of completion from Albion English Trips detailing the skills covered and hours of instruction received.

What happens if we need to cancel?

Every booking needs a 35% deposit, which is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 90 days before departure you lose only the deposit; closer to departure the charge rises to 50% and then 75% of the trip cost, and cancellations in the last 29 days are charged in full. If we have to cancel a trip, you receive a full refund. Section 4 of our Terms and Conditions sets out the exact scale, and we strongly recommend travel insurance.
